Why are my reports failing to generate?​

There are two common reasons when reports fail to generate:

  • At least one policy must be enabled for a report to be generated.

    A report is made of multiple policy assessments. If all policies related to a report are disabled, then it cannot be generated due to insufficient data.

  • There is no data being returned from the policy evaluations related to the report.

    This can be caused an issue at the integration level. For example, integrating an empty AWS account, Google Cloud project, or Azure subscription would result in no data being available for Lacework to complete the policy evaluations.

How long does Lacework retain reports?​

Lacework retains generated reports for 90 days. If you have retention requirements that exceed 90 days, you should download and archive the reports separately.
